It should come as no surprise that I am a big advocate for holistic healing. After suffering with a chronic disorder for a good few years and then realising that the pain medication I was being pumped with did more harm than good, I decided to take things into my own hands and visit a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Doctor at the Tibb Centre and have never looked back.
Wellness & being aware of your health
Stress, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia… these are signs from our bodies that we need to slow down and smell the roses which, more often than not, we choose to ignore. I once read a quote that said ‘health is a crown worn by the healthy that only the sick can see’ and it is because of this quote that I was inspired to start my Wellness Series that have been in plan for the past few months. In this exciting series of posts, you can expect to learn some expert fitness tips, find my favourite workouts and healthy recipes and learn some more about natural medicine and holistic healing all while learning to listen to your body and put yourself first.
Lets help Pharma Dynamics raise R100 000 for Heart Disease in South Africa
Did you know that 215 South Africans die every day from heart disease or stroke and that heart disease claims the second most lives after HIV/Aids in the country? Me neither. How scary is that? Heart disease is a cause which is very dear to my heart as nearly 5 years ago, I lost my beloved father to this sickness.
Before continuing with this post and the sharing of some yummy heart friendly recipes, I wanted to share with you all a great competition where you can win R2000 cash and a romantic picnic for Valentine’s Day! Plus, every share on Facebook with the #hugyourheart tag means that Pharma Dynamics will donate R5 to the HSFSA. See www.hugyourheart.co.za for more details on how you can play your part in raising vital funds for the non-profit organization.

A Dream Come True With KVL
Have you ever wanted something so much that even thinking about it hurt?
About 5 years ago I stumbled upon an image on pinterest of a piece of jewellery that took my breath away. I immediately saved it to my phone and started looking for someone, anyone who would be willing to make it for me. I knew that having this particular piece made the way I wanted it to be would be a huge moment in my life and spent the next four years emailing, calling, messaging and talking to just about anyone who I thought would have the skill and the means to make it for me.
