This past weekend I went to Kirstenbosch (which is one of my favorite spots in Cape Town) for the morning. We have been trying to go every Saturday for the past three weeks and haven’t managed due to the impromptu rains and wind that Cape Town keeps bringing out. Last Saturday however was a balmy +25 degrees which meant that I not only got to go and see the nine anatomically correct dinosaurs placed among the almost extinct cycads in the garden, but I also got to do an impromptu photo shoot. Four of the featured dinosaurs are indigenous to South Africa and are designed in tin by Zimbabwean artist, David Huni. Be sure to have a look at the photo shoot below and marvel in this beauty that we are so lucky to have in Cape Town.<\/p>\n
