As many of you know by now, I regularly go to Skin Renewal for treatments which, coupled with eating plans by Dr Graham, has drastically improved the tone and texture of my skin. I thought I would do a follow up post from this one to talk about how I have been handling my lifestyle changes, the challenges that come along with it and some of the things I have incorporated into my everyday living.
Since I wrote my post about Leaky Gut and how I have been managing it with the help of Dr. Graham at Skin Renewal, I have been getting tons of questions on what I have been doing to decrease my breakouts and keep my skin as clear as possible. While changing my lifestyle and diet played a huge role in easing my symptoms and all-round unhappy skin-tone, I have also been going for regular treatments at Skin Renewal which has made the world of difference in fighting existing spots and lightening stubborn pigmentation. Today’s post is a bit of a mix of my top 5 treatments from the clinic and how they can make the world of difference to you.
If you want to find out how I eased up my acne and got my energy back then grab a cup of tea, this is going to be a long one…
About two months ago, I had my very first consultation with Dr Graham Duncombe at Skin Renewal Cape Quarter to discuss my skin and ever worsening Fibromyalgia symptoms. I have heard quite a bit about him from the brand itself and, when I mentioned his name to many of the therapists, they all nodded and noted that he was, to put it mildly, one of the best. For the past 6 years now, I have been struggling with random bouts of acne which, now that I think about it, began just after I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. However, it was only after meeting Dr Graham when I realised that the two might be connected.
Before I start this post about my amazing treatments at Skin Renewal, I need to apologize for not uploading in a while. First it was the fast and then I was writing exams and, between being sick with a cold and flu to graduating (subtle bragging), I simply never had a chance to sit down and type – let alone respond to mails. However, it has been more than a week since my last appointment at Skin Renewal and I definitely need to share my over-all experience as well as some tips for some of you who might be interested to pay the clinic a visit.
I am so excited to share this post with all of you! As many of you may know, I have been suffering with horrible acne scarring and pigmentation over the last two years and, as a result, have tried many different products promising to diminish all the marks and leave me with supermodel skin – but to no avail. Recently however, I met with the lovely Dr Toni at the prestigious Skin Renewal in Claremont and am so excited to be starting my journey to clear skin with this wonderful brand.
