Finally, I have found myself at a happy place with my skincare regime. Who would have thought? For so long I struggled to be 100 percent happy with every single product I was using and, even though I have been using Avéne every day for at least 2 years now, I never really had this great of a mix of products from the brand. I use a different selection of the products both morning and evening and thought I would show you my evening routine first.
Besides skinny jeans, one of the hardest things for me to buy without any stress is foundation. For as long as I can remember, I had to take the pains to buy at least two or three different foundations to create my perfect match which, as you can very well expect, led me to spend an unnecessary amount of money on just one product. In these past 2 months however, it seems as if the beauty universe has finally felt sorry for my suffering and sent three different foundations my way that all seem to tick my boxes and will definitely tick yours too.
By now I am pretty sure that almost every one of us know the importance of wearing sunscreen on a daily basis whether you are prancing around on the beach, sitting in traffic all day or simply even just being in the shade. I remember once asking my therapist at Skin Renewal whether or not I need to wear sunscreen if I was going to be home all day and her response was ‘in the day-time, your house is flooded with light coming from the windows, that’s all the sun’s rays coming through and it can still affect your skin’. Who knew? In light of this, I decided to share with you all the top 4 sunblock’s I keep on hand every single day and why I love them.
Hydration and moisturisation are two of the most important things I do every day whether it be my skin, hair or cuticles, I am sure to always keep both a bottle of water and cream on hand. However, for now, let’s talk skin – particularly the skin on your feet. Even though I have a countless amount of lotions on hand, I never really found something that keeps my feet supple, soft and smooth throughout the day until I tried Pedi Relax.
Recently while on a shopping trip in Dischem, I came across this nifty little beauty blender which looks exactly the same as the original one without the hefty price tag. I have always been quite intrigued by the actual beauty blender sponge but definitely am not (nor will I ever be) willing to pay around R300 for a sponge.
