Recently while on a shopping trip in Dischem, I came across this nifty little beauty blender which looks exactly the same as the original one without the hefty price tag. I have always been quite intrigued by the actual beauty blender sponge but definitely am not (nor will I ever be) willing to pay around R300 for a sponge.

What I’m loving from Catrice right now

Catrice cosmetics are always coming out with new and affordable high quality products that promise to do what they say more often that not.  This brand is, in my opinion one of the greatest drug-store available brands we have in South Africa and is right up the alley with NYX and Essence with regards to formulation and quality. There are a couple of products in my makeup favorites stash from this brand which I absolutely adore and use religiously (such as the Nude eye shadow palette and Prime and Fine powder) and now, I am happy to announce that these five have too been a very welcomed addition to the clique.

FOREO LUNA

When I heard that I would soon be receiving the award winning FOREO LUNA to test out, I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Would it be another Clarisonic wana be? Would it also need to have its brush heads replaced every three months so that it does more good than harm? And most importantly, would it just be another scheme to get people to dish out money for something they don’t even need? I decided to not to get my hopes up due to the hurricane of face-brushes hitting the market in and instead, patiently waited for my package to arrive so I could test it out for myself.
