To be honest, I’ve started feeling as if I write about Avène too much – but I can’t help it. These products are so amazing and no, this is not a sponsored post. I have been using this brand since it launched in South Africa (I feel like it might be 3 years now) and have repurchased multiple products time and time again simply because they are gentle, fuss-free and most importantly, they work! Have a read below to find out why I love these 4 products pictured above and how they make part of my morning routine.
Finally, I have found myself at a happy place with my skincare regime. Who would have thought? For so long I struggled to be 100 percent happy with every single product I was using and, even though I have been using Avéne every day for at least 2 years now, I never really had this great of a mix of products from the brand. I use a different selection of the products both morning and evening and thought I would show you my evening routine first.
Besides skinny jeans, one of the hardest things for me to buy without any stress is foundation. For as long as I can remember, I had to take the pains to buy at least two or three different foundations to create my perfect match which, as you can very well expect, led me to spend an unnecessary amount of money on just one product. In these past 2 months however, it seems as if the beauty universe has finally felt sorry for my suffering and sent three different foundations my way that all seem to tick my boxes and will definitely tick yours too.
Ponds recently launched a delightfully inexpensive little duo to fight pimples and spots in just three days. Formulated with their first ever Active Thymo T-Essence, Ponds Pimple Clear uses unique Lock + Clear technology to ensure that your pimples are killed at the root. I tried it out for myself and have to admit that nothing I have ever used has reduced a spot in such a short amount of time.
PS: Since publishing this post, I have repurchased these products in bigger sizes!
Last week I suffered with the worst back pain I had in ages which started after I spent a few nights hunched over in bed studying. Having a musculoskeletal disorder didn’t make things any easier and so, when it was slowly creeping over onto the 2-week mark of excruciating pain, I popped in at Sorbet Belvedere for a detoxing ‘Knock Your Tox Off’ massage (R440) with my therapist Tasneem.
